About

Hi, I’m Tangye.
I’m a writer, editor, proofreader, and woman in a new season of life — one where clarity, confidence, and voice matter more than ever.
After years of working in human services and compliance, I began building something that felt more like mine: a space for writing, reinvention, style, and freelance freedom after 60.
Chic at 60 & Freelance Freedom is where I write about what it means to keep becoming. Here, you’ll find personal essays, reflections on confidence and style, and honest stories about work, aging, solitude, starting over, and learning to trust your own voice.
I believe women over 60 deserve to be seen, heard, respected, and beautifully put together — whether we are working from home, walking into a room, building a business, or simply choosing ourselves again.
I also help others refine their own words through editing, proofreading, and thoughtful content support. My work is rooted in clarity, flow, and voice — because good writing should sound polished without losing the person behind it.
This blog is part personal journal, part second-act roadmap, and part reminder that it is never too late to write, dress, work, live, or speak with more confidence.
I’m so glad you’re here.
